How To Pack Like A Pro

We know that packing can be a total nightmare and something that we typically put off til the last possible moment. This is why we want to help in any way we can by providing you with packing tips to make this process easier on the way there and on the way back!

Organization Hack

Keeping your things organized inside the suitcase can be a struggle. Trust us, we get it! One way to keep organized is to get some packing cubes. They can take up space in the luggage and may seem unnecessary, but if used right they can really make a difference.

Not every item needs to be placed into a packing cube, so we recommend just getting a few of them to keep certain items from getting mixed up and to help when using your luggage on the trip. They can be used for nice shirts, blouses, dresses, delicate items, and pants. Packing bags can also be helpful for carrying shoes or hot tools. Beis also has great packing cubes, bags, and many other travel accessories. However, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on these types of items. Save that money for the luggage and the trip!

Separating the Dirty from the Clean

Another type of bag we would recommend taking on your trip is a laundry bag. If you are traveling to a place where you can do laundry then you might not need this, otherwise it can be very helpful. This extra bag shouldn’t take up too much space as it will be empty on the way there and will only hold the same clothes you took as you travel back home. It’s great for keeping soiled clothing away from the fresh new clothing throughout the trip. It is especially great if you are taking a trip where you will be swimming, so that you can keep the used bathing suits away from your other clothes.

Space Saving

Depending on the length of your trip, travel size items might be the way to go. They save up lots of room in your bags on the way, and if they are used up on the trip then they don’t need to be brought back. We would recommend taking travel size toiletries, hair products, and makeup. If you spot any travel size makeup products, you should definitely buy it. The amount of product in them is usually plenty and will last you the entire trip and then some!

When packing your clothing, especially if there is any clothing that won’t be going into packing cubes, try rolling them instead of folding them flat. This helps save space in the luggage, prevent creasing in your clothes, and keep the items compact so they don’t toss around in the bag. You can even roll certain items into the clothing to help protect them while traveling. It also can help you see the clothing better when the luggage is opened up, versus when clothing is folded flat and stacked on top of each other. This may take a little longer while packing, but it is totally worth it!

Lastly, the Luggage Matters

If you’re always on the go, then we would recommend investing in large and very durable luggage so that they don’t break down and you won’t have to repurchase them often. One that is large and hardcover is the way to go and will hold lots of stuff inside.

Also, to prevent scuffing your luggage we suggest getting some luggage covers that will protect your suitcases while they are being tossed around on the plane. Some great quality luggage and luggage covers are by the brand Beis. They are sleek, stylish, and high quality!

We hope these tips will make your life easier and help focus on the fun of the trip instead of the hassle of it! What are some of your favorite packing hacks that have completely changed the packing game for you?
