Maple Cardamom Matcha Latte

Growing up in a Lebanese household I never saw matcha. My first matcha drink was an iced matcha latte w/ soy milk from starbucks (that’s still my fav way to drink it.)
 
Finding the right clean matcha was difficult and not something I put too much effort into so I would just buy it occasionally at cafes. Then, my friends over at Matchafresh introduced me to their organic delicious matcha and it got me inspired to start creating recipes at home! Heres my take on a matcha latte + a Mediterranean twist.
 
Ingredients: 
1/2 cup of milk (I like Oatly)
1 Tbsp Organic maple syrup 
1/4 Tsp Ground cardamom 
1 Tsp Matcha powder 
 
What to do:
+ Melt your matcha down with a little warm water & mix in your maple syrup. 
+ Warm up your milk then add matcha mix & cardamom. 
+ Froth up a little milk to get a cafe feel at home! Then sprinkle a little bit of cardamom on top and enjoy!
