My whole life I have always hated seafood. My only exception would be like once a year mama would convince me to “try” the salmon. I would then drench it in fresh lemon juice and taratoor (a traditional tahini , anything really to mask the taste of fish.
Parmesan crusted salmon is super flavorful and allowed me to enjoy my salmon without going all psycho on it. This is actually my sister’s recipe that I stole… But like, what are little sisters for?
Let’s get right into it- Since this is a really simple the quality of each ingredient can take this dish to another level.

Wild Alaskan Salmon

Parmesan cheese (grated)

Himalayan salt

Black pepper

Crushed red pepper (optional)

Lemon juice (fresh)

Fresh lemons

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Get your nonstick baking sheet and drizzle avocado oil over it. Then Gab your salmon and cut it into filets. I like to keep the skin on because it is easier to remove once cooked. Cut thick slices of lemon (two per filet) and place your salmon on top (skin down). This will prevent the salmon from sticking to the sheet. Add salt, pepper, crushed red pepper all as desired per filet. Bake for 10 min (or until cooked fully through). Remove the salmon from the oven and add half a teaspoon of mayo and desired amount of grated parmesan on top. Pop it back into the oven for 5 more minutes.
Put this over your favorite risotto, rice, mashed potatoes, cauliflower mash or even pasta! Really it’s whatever your heart desires. Then make sure to drench it with lemon because let’s be real, that’s the best part about eating seafood haha.
